Shipping and Costs

Shipping Process Germany

Your order is shipped as an package directly from the Märklin central or spare parts warehouse; shipping is done by our logistics partner DHL Paket GmbH and DPD Deutschland GmbH.

Shipping Time

Usually, you will receive your order within 5 to 6 work days for items in stock in the warehouse.In exceptional cases it may happen that an item may be out of stock in the warehouse although the system says it is available. You will be informed about this, and you will have to order the item again, when it is available again.

Shipping Costs

The amount of the shipping costs inside Germany depends on the value of the order:

Members of the consumer clubs Märklin Insider, Trix- and LGB-Club receive all of their orders above 20.00 Euros with free shipping inside Germany.

Returns from Germany are free. For returns from abroad, the customer pays the full return costs himself.

Methods of Payment and Maximum Order Amounts

You can pay for Internet orders with different methods; for safety reasons there are certain maximum order amounts per order, depending on the method of payment:

• Credit Card
  At the end of the order you enter your credit card information (Visa or Mastercard); your card account will not be charged until the order has been shipped.
• PayPal
  At the end of the order you will be directed to the Paypal page, please follow their instructions for your payment. Your Paypal account will not be charged until the order has been shipped.

International Shipping Procedure

International shipments will be sent out from the Märklin central warehouse. The shipments are processed by our logistics partners DHL, or DPD.

For technical reasons it is necessary, that for all Shop orders the shipping and billing country is the same.

Shipping Costs

Please see the following table for shipping costs to your country. You will also find a note in this table, whether the shipment can be sent to you duty free (EU only). In any event, you are responsible for duties levied on the shipment and/or for any taxes customary in your country.
