"Freight Train" Digital Starter Set with a Class 141 Model train

Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 141 standard design electric locomotive. Orient red paint scheme. Version with double lamps, Klatte type ventilation grills. Three German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) type Gbs 258 (former DR type Gbs 1500) boxcars. The train looks as it did around 1994.

Model: The locomotive body and frame are constructed of die-cast zinc. The locomotive has a built-in digital decoder and sound generator for operation with DCC. The motor has a flywheel. 4 axles powered. Traction tires. The headlights and marker lights change over with the direction of travel and have warm white LEDs. They and the cab lights can be controlled digitally. The locomotive has close coupler mechanisms. It also has separately applied grab irons. The cars have close coupler mechanisms. The set includes a Mobile Station, a Track Connector Box, and a 230 volt / 30 VA switched mode power pack. An oval of track with Radius 2 curved track is included. Space required: 119 x 47 cm / 47" x 19". Total length over the buffers for the train approximately 362 mm / 14-1/4".
