InterRegio Passenger Car Set Model train

Prototype: Two different design German Federal Railroad (DB) InterRegio passenger cars. One type Bimz 264.7 passenger car, 2nd class, and one type Bimdz 268.2 passenger car with a bicycle compartment, 2nd class. Light gray / distant blue basic paint scheme with pastel blue striping. Train route: IR 2670 from Konstanz to Kassel. Car sequence numbers 44 and 45. The cars look as they did in 1993.

Model: The cars are completely new tooling for the InterRegio car family. They have multiple color interior details including modelling of the bicycle rack in the bicycle compartment. Both cars have factory-installed LED interior lighting. Each car has a built-in buffer capacitor to bridge short-term spots without current. The interior lighting works in the car consist. A fixed defined car order is stipulated to do this. There are red transparent marker light inserts at the ends of each car. One car has factory-installed marker lights. The underbodies are specific to the car types and include many separately applied details. The buffer height adheres to the NEM. The cars have type MD 366 trucks without separately applied generators. The vents on the car bodies are separately applied. There are imprinted car route signs on the cars. The cars are individually packaged in a master package. The minimum radius for operation is 360 mm / 14-3/16". Length over the buffers approximately 56.4 cm / 22-3/16".
